Why isn't it updating? I installed it and checked the plugin box!
Try restarting Pidgin and waiting 15 seconds for it to update. Make sure you have the correct syntax as specified on the Instructions page.
What IM features are supported?
User Info is supported in AIM only.
Available Messages are supported in AIM, Jabber, and Yahoo (but may only be visible to other Pidgin users.)
Away Messages are supported in AIM, ICQ, Jabber, and Yahoo.
Can you add this feature or player?
Probably not. I'm about finished adding new things to the plugin.
Future releases will probably just include bug fixes. If you want it to
work with a certain player, see if that player includes any kind of a Winamp
compatibility mode or a Winamp emulation plugin.
You might want to check out the similar
Current Track Plugin for Pidgin. It isn't quite as customizable, but supports
many different players.
