How to Use MusicInfo

MusicInfo supports customizing the away message, available message, and user info/profile with information about whatever song is currently playing.

Keywords/Tags:

You can use the following keywords to display information about what song you are listening to:

%so% will be replaced by the song name
%ar% will be replaced by the artist name
Use the tags (mi) and (/mi) to mark text that you only want to be displayed when listening to a song. Use the tags (ns) and (/ns) to mark text that you only want to be displayed when not listening to a song.

Examples:

If you put the following text in your profile...

Hi there!
(mi)I am listening to %so% by %ar%(/mi)(ns)I am not listening to music at the moment(/ns)
When you are listening to a song, this will be displayed:
Hi there!
I am listening to Song by Artist
When you are not listening to a song, this will be displayed:
Hi there!
I am not listening to music at the moment

Here's an example with screen shots:
I set this in my away message:
example away message
This shows up when I'm listening to music:
away with music
And this shows up when I'm not listening to music:
away without music
